Filse and the University of Genoa signed a cooperation agreement in Algiers with seven of Algeria's leading universities, promoted by the Ministry of University and Research of the Algerian Republic. The agreement strengthens the bond between Italy and Algeria and aims to develop joint initiatives in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transfer.

The programme includes joint activities to support the creation and growth of start-ups, encourage training and the exchange of skills, promote academic mobility and collaborations on European projects dedicated to the Mediterranean.

The first initiative will be a training course dedicated to the directors of Algerian university incubators, created by experts from BIC – Filse Incubator, with a focus on international management models, certification and European design.

This collaboration is the result of dialogue initiated during last May's institutional mission and represents a new step towards a Mediterranean innovation network capable of generating opportunities for young entrepreneurs and local systems.
This result was made possible thanks to work with the University of Genoa, the support of the Liguria Region, the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and the Italian Embassy in Algiers.
